Reasons
- On 17 May 2024 the Tribunal ordered the tenant to pay the landlords $6494.52 being rent arrears, compensation and the filing fee.
- The landlords attended the hearing. The tenant did not.
- The landlords did not apply to have the bond refunded and there was no record on the file of a bond being held at the Bond Centre.
- It has now been clarified that a Bond of $2500.00 is held at the Bond Centre under no. 6475648-005 and it is appropriate that it is refunded to the landlords and accordingly the adjustment has been made for the remaining balance owed by the tenant to the landlords.
- In every other respect the decision of 17 May 2024 remains the same.
