- The tenancy of Teresa Haddon at Unit/Flat 2, 14B Kaponga Crescent, New Lynn, Auckland 0600 is terminated, and possession is granted to Yuantian Luo, at 11.59 pm on Thursday 15 May 2025.
- Teresa Haddon must pay Yuantian Luo $7,192.00 immediately, being rent arrears to 15 May 2025 and the filing fee.
Reasons
- The landlord attended the hearing which was held by teleconference. The tenant did not answer either of the calls made at the scheduled time to the number provided to the Tribunal.
- The tenant has been served by email which is an address for service on her tenancy agreement.
- Because I am satisfied the tenant has been served notice of the hearing in accordance with the Residential Tenancies Act, 1986 and the tenant has not requested an adjournment, the hearing was conducted in the tenant’s absence.
- The landlord stated the tenant has not paid any rent since moving into the property.
- The landlord has applied for termination of the tenancy, rent arrears, the bond and reimbursement of the filing fee.
- Because Yuantian Luo has wholly succeeded with the claim I must reimburse the filing fee.
