- Monika Toma and Peleipu Toma must pay Max Rentals NZ Limited $7,115.98 immediately, calculated as shown in table below.
Reasons
- The landlord attended the hearing, set down to be conducted via video conference. There was no entry into the conference by the tenants., nor any prior contact with the Registry. Calls to the tenant were attempted but unsuccessful. I was satisfied adequate service had completed and I continued with the hearing after calls went unanswered.
- The landlord has applied for rent arrears and water rates, and reimbursement of the filing fee following the end of the tenancy. The bond has already been released to the landlord and it is applied against the debt in this order.
How much is owed for rent and water rates?
- The tenancy ended on 6 April 2025 after tenant notice. The landlord provided rent records and water rates invoices which prove the amounts owing at the end of the tenancy are as ordered. Filing fee
