- The landlord attended the video hearing. The tenant did not attend, did not respond when telephoned on the number ending in 585 and the hearing proceeded in their absence.
- The landlord has applied for rent arrears and compensation following the end of the tenancy.
How much is owed for rent?
- The tenancy ended on 18 May 2023. The landlord provided rent records which prove the amount owing of $710.14 at the end of the tenancy.
- During the tenancy the landlord says that the tenant requested a skip bin and the pest control treatment. Evidence has been provided in support of these claims. The landlord seeks the cost of the skip bin of $350.00 and the pest control treatment of $159.00.
- The amounts ordered are proved.
