Order
- Virginia Ellen McKenzie must pay Wendy-Lee Renner, Peter Campbell Renner and PQ Trustees Limited as Trustees for The Campbell-Lee Trust $5,433.71 immediately, as shown below:
Reasons
- The landlord attended the hearing which was held by teleconference. The tenant couldn’t be reached on the number given in the Notice of Hearing, which was properly served.
- An Order was made on 17 November 2025 that the bond be paid to the landlord. The hearing was adjourned to allow the tenant to check her records before the rent arrears claim was finalised.
- The tenant was required to provide details of any challenge to the landlord’s rent records within 14 days of the date of that Order. No such information has been provided by the tenant. I find the landlord’s claim proved by the rent statement provided.
- The landlord has other compensation claims. As noted in the November Order those claims will need to be brought through a separate application.
- Because the landlord has succeeded with the claim I must reimburse the filing fee.
