The landlord attended the hearing on 1 September 2025. The tenant did not.
The landlord claims the tenant owes rent arrears and outstanding water rates invoices. The landlord also claims the tenant did not comply with their obligations at the end of the tenancy. In particular, the landlord claims the premises were unclean and there was lots of rubbish left behind. The landlord seeks compensation and a refund of the bond. The issues I must determine are: a.
